Chrysler / Dodge / Jeep / Ram 2018+ SGW Programming Bypass Cable

Starting in 2018, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles were equipped with a Security Gateway Module (SGW) designed to block unauthorized OBDII access. While this protects against hacking, it also prevents legitimate ECU flashing, diagnostics, and tuning. Installation

The SGW module is typically located behind the dash near the OBDII port. Simply disconnect the SGW, plug in the bypass cable, and connect your tuning device or scan tool. After programming, remove the bypass and reinstall the SGW to restore factory security.
