How VATS Works
The Chevrolet Tahoe, like many GM trucks and SUVs, was built with the Vehicle Anti-Theft System requiring a resistor pellet in the ignition key.
If the ECM/PCM does not detect the correct resistance, fuel and spark are disabled, preventing the SUV from starting.
Our VATS delete service clears this dependency, restoring normal plug-and-play operation.

Security Light Woes
