Would it be possible to rewrite another vin onto the Ecu and delete pats? Trying to swap from auto to manual in my mustang with the least amount of issues. Thanks

A: Yes, absolutely. When checking out you would just need to enter the vin number that you want programmed into the ecu.

Ford Mustang PATS Disable / Reset Service
The Ford Mustang is one of the most common vehicles affected by Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) issues.
If you’ve replaced the PCM/ECU and the engine starts then immediately stalls, chances are the immobilizer is still active.
Our Mustang PATS disable and reset service permanently removes the PATS security programming from your PCM,
fixing no-start conditions caused by mismatched keys or modules.
Why This Service is Our #1 Seller
Mustang owners frequently upgrade or replace PCMs, and PATS is often the roadblock preventing the car from running.
This service is our most popular PATS delete solution, trusted by customers worldwide to get their Mustangs back on the road fast.
What MoPower Can Offer
Permanently remove PATS security from your Ford Mustang PCM
VIN rewritten back into the PCM for a correct factory match
Eliminates no-start conditions after PCM swap, replacement, or performance upgrade
Plug-and-play PCM install – no extra key programming required
How PATS Works
All modern Ford PCMs have PATS capability. Once a PCM has been “married” to a PATS system, it will always expect the immobilizer handshake before allowing the engine to start.
Our PATS reset service clears this requirement, letting your Mustang PCM operate normally without needing PATS.
Donor PCMs from PATS-equipped Mustangs can trigger no-start issues
PATS-cleared PCMs work with both security and non-security keys
Compatible with most Mustang model years from 1996 to present
Security Light Woes
After PATS delete, the security light may remain illuminated on some Ford Mustang clusters.
If this occurs, the only solution is to remove the light bulb or LED from the dash cluster.
Plug-and-Play Installation
Most customers can install a PATS-cleared PCM with no additional programming.
In rare cases, a global DTC clear may be needed before the Mustang will start.
