A: Once we receive the ecu/pcm the turn around time is 2-5 days depending on work load.
If your Ford F-Series truck will not start after a PCM/ECU replacement, the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) may be the reason. Our PATS disable and reset service permanently removes the immobilizer requirement from your PCM, allowing your F-Series pickup to start and run without needing programmed keys or a matched PATS module.
Ford PCMs are often equipped with PATS capability, even if the truck was not originally ordered with it. Once a PCM has been “married” to a PATS system, it will always expect the immobilizer handshake before starting. Our PATS reset service clears this lock, restoring normal plug-and-play operation.
After PATS delete, the security light may remain illuminated on some F-Series instrument clusters. If this occurs, the only solution is to remove the bulb or LED from the dash.
Most customers can install a PATS-cleared PCM with no additional programming. In rare cases, a global DTC clear may be required before the truck will start.
