Dodge Durango SKIM Key & WIN Immobilizer Delete Service

What This Service Does

Important Notes

• SKIM/WIN Module Handling — the SKIM/WIN module must be unplugged before installing a PCM with security cleared (2007+ WIN systems may have specific handling)
• Security Light — some vehicles may still show the security light after SKIM delete; this does not affect drivability
• Plug & Play — most SKIM-cleared PCMs are install-ready; in rare cases a global code clear is needed before the vehicle starts

How SKIM/Immobilizer Works

Every Dodge PCM is SKIM-capable, even if the vehicle did not originally include the system. Once activated, the PCM always looks for a SKIM/WIN signal. By clearing the SKIM function, the PCM will operate normally without the immobilizer system. Both security and non-security keys can be used with a SKIM-cleared PCM.
