Chrysler Town & Country SKIM Key & WIN Immobilizer Delete Service

Did you replace the PCM/ECU in your Chrysler Town & Country only to have the engine start and then immediately stall? A faulty SKIM (Sentry Key Immobilizer Module) or WIN (Wireless Ignition Node) often blocks the PCM from allowing the engine to run. Our in-house SKIM / WIN Immobilizer Delete Service permanently removes this security programming from your Town & Country PCM.

What This Service Does

• SKIM / WIN Removal — disables the factory immobilizer to eliminate no-start conditions
• VIN Re-Write — your VIN is written back into the PCM after security removal
• Permanent Fix — allows PCM swaps without triggering immobilizer issues

Important Notes

• SKIM/WIN Module Handling — the SKIM/WIN module must be unplugged before installing a PCM with security cleared (2007+ WIN systems may have specific handling)
• Security Light — some vehicles may still show the security light after SKIM delete; this does not affect drivability
• Plug & Play — most SKIM-cleared PCMs are install-ready; in rare cases a global code clear is needed before the vehicle starts

How SKIM/Immobilizer Works

Every Chrysler PCM is SKIM-capable, even if the vehicle did not originally include the system. Once activated, the PCM always looks for a SKIM/WIN signal. By clearing the SKIM function, the PCM will operate normally without the immobilizer system. Both security and non-security keys can be used with a SKIM-cleared PCM.
