⚠️ Important Notes

• SKIM/WIN Module Handling — unplug the SKIM, SKEEM, or WIN module before installing a PCM with security cleared (2007+ WIN systems may require specific handling)
• Security Light — the security light may remain on after SKIM delete; this does not affect drivability or PCM operation
• Off-Road/Competition Use — service intended for legal off-road or race applications where immobilizer removal is permitted

How Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram Immobilizers Work

Every PCM/ECU produced for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles from 1996–2025 is SKIM-capable, even if the vehicle was not originally sold with the system. Once a PCM has SKIM/WIN activated, it constantly looks for an immobilizer signal. Without it, the vehicle will stall or refuse to start.

By clearing the SKIM function, the PCM will operate normally without the immobilizer system. Both chipped SKIS keys and non-security keys will work with a SKIM-deleted PCM.
