How PATS Works

Ford PCMs are often built with PATS capability, even if the vehicle was not originally equipped. Once a PCM has been “married” to a PATS module, it will always expect the immobilizer handshake before starting. Our PATS reset service clears this lock, restoring normal plug-and-play operation.

Security Light Woes

After PATS delete, the security light may stay illuminated on some Ford Taurus dashboards. If this happens, the only solution is to remove the bulb or LED from the cluster.
