Chrysler Aspen SKIM Key / WIN Immobilizer Delete Service

Did you replace the PCM/ECU in your Chrysler Aspen only to find that the engine starts and then immediately dies? This is often caused by a faulty SKIM (Sentry Key Immobilizer Module) or WIN (Wireless Ignition Node), preventing the PCM from allowing the engine to run. Our in-house SKIM / WIN Immobilizer Delete Service permanently removes this security programming from your Aspen’s PCM.

What This Service Does

• SKIM / WIN Removal — disables the factory immobilizer so the vehicle will start and run without the SKIM signal
• VIN Re-Write — your VIN is written back into the PCM after security removal
• Permanent Fix — eliminates no-start conditions caused by failed immobilizer modules

Important Notes

• SKIM Module Disconnect — you must unplug the SKIM module before installing a PCM with security cleared (2007+ WIN systems may require different handling)
• Security Light — in some cases, the security light may remain illuminated on the dash; this does not affect drivability
• Plug & Play — most SKIM-cleared PCMs are ready to install; a global code clear may be required before the vehicle starts

How SKIM/Immobilizer Works

Every Chrysler PCM is SKIM-capable, even if the vehicle did not originally include it. Once activated, the PCM always looks for a SKIM/WIN signal. By clearing the SKIM function, the PCM will run without the immobilizer system. Both security and non-security keys can start the vehicle with a SKIM-cleared PCM.
